Using a VPS to manage traffic domains

    Are you using Putty or something else? It should definitely be able to login. I can change the password if you would like and we can try that.

    Thanks, but I decided not to use the Windows machine, but to use the Ubuntu machine to maintain the server.
    I don't think it is a password issue, and terminal seems to work fine for the initial connection. I need to do a bit more reading and research before I ask you for help. I think the problem lies with the WiFi connection. I'm tempted to give in and use a normal household connection to see if that works, but that is a bit of an admission of defeat. :)

    I'm having a bit of a day off today, and I'll do some serious research tomorrow.

    Apologies for not having updated this thread. I decided to have a clearout of some of my domain names, and my registrar offers a free market site with payment processing and escrow. I've been trying to work out their system of site generation, and selected some of the names to go and their prices.

    Instafree is easier and more flexible. :) I've been using that for some simple traffic filtering. The site works well, but I'm not getting any sales, so I need to be a bit more sophisticated I think.
