I don't mind at all.. have used it for a few different purposes at different times...

Currently.. as in like.. right now:
    • 100% of the time is my gopher server... so I can reference RFDs of protocols or 'manuals' I convert to text only
    • 100% of the time it acts as my real-time remote storage/dump for my phone's camera through SFTP
( so images/videos are never on my phone )
Lately.. typical usage includes ( above + ):
    • Pseudo backup solution for gzip'd code I write for customers
    • A 'pass through' device for encrypted documents between myself and clients and sister ( I really run two businesses... the primary with my Sis is a family business ) since I have more control over the server I do not have to depend on Google.Drive or DropBox and their hinky user agreements. Dealing with people's SS#s and copies of government issued documents I really really need to make sure it's secure and "unreadable"
    • Quick temp TeamSpeak/Mumble servers
    • A VNC repeater for boneheaded customers that cannot wrap their heads around firewall rules or NAT translations
( emergency use really.. don't want to kill the banwidth )

Now... Ideally... I want to have finished researching the viability/possibility of this setup:
    • Need - My custom written Gopher server available since http doesn't translate that well to term consoles
( hella low / nearly non existant resource req )
    • Need - A personal Git, private repos for versioning of customer's solutions / documents
( pretty low resource req )
    • Kinda Need - nextCloud/ownCloud like solution
( can get heavier on MEM/HD req, depends on my usage habits really )
    • Really Want - An OpenNIC / DNS server.. potentially moving towards to an openNIC TLD root host in the future
( can be overwhelming for bandwidth.. might be too much for the openVZ tho, research.. typically not if I kept private )
All of which takes time... and between the 2 businesses... being a single dad... the latest move to Sebring.. my mother's surgery... and now the storm... it's been a bit of an obstacle course to accomplish and within the confines of the resources allowed... but 'everyday I'm shuffling'
