I am using Cloudflare for quite a long and I think, cloudflare really make the site much faster and secure. Unfortunately, very recently, I have faced a "unwanted redirection issue" when I created a subdomain using cloudflare "A record".

After creating the subdomain, when I tried to enter my website, surprisingly, it redirected me to a website named "abur ton . it" (I gave some extra space just to be sure that it does not act as a link). Not only that, all my link started redirected to that link. My main website, sub-page and everything! Even I can't access my email also. I tried some basic options to fix the problem but nothing worked. I was in great stress already because it was my portfolio website. I was so worried about if the mess is because of me or not!

Then, next day I informed @Bryan about it. Like always, he was super responsive and answered me within an hour maybe. He then tried backup restoration and other things but unfortunately, that did not work either. He informed me about the issue and I was surprised to know that, he already had gone a great length of contacting the cPanel authority to check if the problem is from the cPanel end and actually it was. Then, the cPanel authority did solve the problem and now it is working fine. After 2-3 days, I again faced the same issue with the subdomain once. So, to take no risk, I simply deleted that subdomain and the associated record from the cloudflare.

That's why I love being with IF. I already have used the service of a good number of hosting provider and never I got someone so helpful like Bryan. Sometimes, I even feel silly to knock him but he never let me down.

This post is just to share my recent experience with cloudflare and the feeling about IF. I have no intention to leave hosting with such a nice service as well as IF community, rather I want to be with IF as long as I can. Sometimes, I really wish to recommend some of my friend to use IF but as Bangladesh is in "prohibited country" list, I couldn't do that. Otherwise, I would have referred each and every friend of mine(who want to buy hosting and are trustworthy in nature) to IF.

By the way, did you ever face such kind of "unwanted redirection issue"?

@Bryan is the best administrator of web hosting I have ever met. He really is a very valuable person and I am also very grateful to be able to belong to this community and to be able to use the services that IF offers. IF is simply the best of the best.

I recently had a similar problem with redirect errors, the difference is that we are talking about the main domain. It is very shocking to see that when you access your domain instead of viewing your site, you see a site that you have never seen in your life. I will not deny that I was worried for a moment, but I remembered Rony's experience and I returned to see this thread.

Of course, the important question was: what do I do now? So I asked @Bryan for help. And as always @Bryan saved the day. :D:D:D

Thanks @Bryan! And thank you @Rony Ronouk because telling your experience was very important to me, it helped me to know what I had to do. Thanks! :):):)
