    There is a preventive maintenance scheduled for Aug 5, 2017 @ 2:00 pm PDT - 6:00 pm PDT. This preventive maintenance is an upgrade to some aspects of our network topology, changed to allow for more capacity along with more robust hardware to process higher PPS attacks. As our network grows, we upgrade to the latest technology to handle higher throughput which ultimately leads to a more stable network as the threats from DDoS attacks grows.

    Expectations -
    We do not expect any significant downtime during this maintenance as our network is redundant with redundant/diverse paths. However there will be small blip of traffic during these schedule maintenance we do not anticipate too many of these and will keep it to a minimum.

    Once the upgrade takes place it'll allow for higher connectivity, volumetric throughput along with higher PPS capacity with no performance degradation. We expect to upgrade our secondary edge router once we we’ve confirmed the initial upgrade has been a success.

    Rollback Plans -
    We have engineers monitoring on-site to ensure that if a roll back is necessary we are able to do so under minimal intrusive actions.
