as opposed to just paying u w/o subscription I mean???.... I dont have anything against continuing our relationship on here @Bryan... but these things tend to bite me when I don't expect it.. I'm too stupid for "schedules"... so I avoid subscriptions as much as I do iDevices.

I patiently and respectfully await your response...

It's not auto renew. You have to redo the subscribe each time it expires. At least I'm sure it's like that as the package(s) you have say "expires on" instead of "renews on".

I believe they just expire off your account and Bryan changes it back whenever he notices that you didn't renew. But I haven't tried so don't depend on it.

You faced a similar situation no?.. I remember reading that you 'cancelled' your subscription on a previous thread... was it that which is the reason u have no recurring?

    Still patiently awaiting.... :(

Originally I purchased with PayPal as it was before the IF$ became a thing. If you do by that, you will have a cancel button at the bottom of the upgrades page where it shows your package(s). Purchasing with the IF$, it doesn't renew itself

Yea Paypal is what I was referring to... apologies to all for not having made that clear originally.. I had not realized that the IF$ options were also on the image until I took another look at the screenshot

    Hi Joe,

It should not auto-renew or create a subscription, how I have it set. Of course, if it did create a subscription (PayPal), just log into PayPal and cancel the subscription. That will not cancel the payment or anything like that.

I'm with you on the subscriptions. I always cancel them immediately if they get created in PayPal.

Paypal you just click the unsubscribe button on your package on the upgrades page and that will take you to PayPal website where you deauthorise the InstaFree payment. It will still show "unsubscribe" after that on the package but when it expires it will expire and you'll have to do it yourself again by clicking subscribe.

I don't think I've touched anything, but the script that handles that changes itself every now and again.

    I get a notification. Thanks for the upgrade!! :D :D: D

Or maybe you always have done it like that but it just shows like a subscription for some reason despite it not being so lol. Idk but there definitely was the unsubscribe button that took you to paypal to cancel the "subscription" lol.

Bryan never took off the regular VPS client tag off of me. D:
Maybe he just keeps it like that anyway?

Just so you know... the script did infact create a subscription for both transactions recurring yearly... thought you'd like to know.

Thanks Joe! I'm attempting to fix it right now. It seems to change itself around with every update. Argh!

Joe, quick question, what are you using your VPS for if you don't mind my asking?
