Currently experiencing packet loss in the Las Vegas DC. DC technician said:

Not clear if the attack was directed at one of our servers, or the DC as a whole.

Showing it back up, with marginal packet loss.

As of 2335 PDT, the datacenter indicates that the attack has been fully mitigated. It was not directed at our server, rather at the datacenter itself.

I’m curious. Did they give a scale at all? How big the attack was ?

Unfortunately (or fortunately...ha ha!) the attack wasn't against us, so I'll have to see if they have any. If it was an attack against us, I'd have tons of pretty graphs. :D :D :D

Why didn’t they nullroute the customer? In this case other customer was causing trouble for others?

I'm guessing it wasn't a specific customer, and likely an attack on the entire DC.

And there I was thinking Jasja got himself too drunk to work after losing the bet!

I like pretty graphics! I don't always know what they mean, but I've got Google figured out!

As always, even though I'm way over on the Dallas server, I absolutely love the openness and flow of information. It makes me more comfortable, for obvious reasons.

Good grief though I have to keep that in mind that .NET just eats space for the cache so I have to remember to delete that cache whenever I'm updating Jasja along with .NET and all lol. 5GB of space is plenty for just running my JasjaBot, but seriously .NET is so annoying. But then NCDU is such a fantastic tool for finding what's using space.
